Theoretical training

for the IR (A) rating you need:

The theoretical study can be done by self-study back home.

But we suggest in any case some ground school for the IMC and for the preparation for the written exams.

Flight training

There are no required number of flight training hours…
But you have to be ready to fly the EASA- PPL skill test.

Requirements to start the IMC training:

IMC rating course flying (15 hours) may be included in the 25 hours experience.

Time frame

The training can be done in about one week.

We have the examiner for the IMC with us in Jerez.
